Spritz This, Procter & Gamble!
Fri, 21 Mar 2008 20:00:12 PDT
OK. The Home Made Stupid Squad (a moniker aptly used by my friend Jesse) strikes again! I seem to have struck a chord with this post, in more ways than one: not only did I get quite a few encouraging comments, but someone or a few someones at Procter & Gamble suddenly started reading this blog! Welcome! So, again today I tuned into Newsworld for my fix of news, and lo and behold, there was Madame Woodburn once more, this time tut-tutting in her posh accent about how having a "beautiful fra

is green IT finally growing up? 16 April 2008 I think "green IT" is beginning to show signs of maturity. I expressed concerns before (here and here) that there seemed to be more milky froth than caffeine in the initial rush of IT organisations signing 'green' pledges and marketing superficial models (such as thin client) as the answer to the world's climate change problems. A set of simple stickers reminding people to turn off the lights when they leave a room would probably have been both lo

The CBC will dramatically increase resources devoted to covering local and national news in Alberta generally and Calgary and Edmonton in particular. Saying it’s moving to fulfill a commitment to local newsgathering announced nationally last year, CBC News will be doubling the number of newsgathering resources in Alberta by adding approximately 25 new assignments for television journalists based in Calgary and Edmonton to focus on local and national stories originating in Alberta. At the same

Search Engine Specifically For One Race
Wed, 16 Apr 2008 01:31:15 PDT
There has been a time when some friends who were still in the university were complaining that it was hard for them to find information about some stuff they were searching for on the web. The information was actually about some of the country’s local trends and practices, and that can be kind of difficult to find over the internet. Too bad there isn’t any kind of search engine that caters to our race. However, recently, a new search engine has been launched and it is aimed towards African-Ame

Businessman is crazy paying $1.5m for Marilyn Monroe Sex Film
Wed, 16 Apr 2008 03:51:08 PDT
Businessmen are just bloody crazy; I mean come on paying $1.5m for a Marilyn Monroe Sex Film. The sex tape was sold for that amount which was bought from a New York businessman. Come on mate the sex tape is only 15 minutes long that’s not even enough time to have a little fun (Wink wink you know what I mean). The tape consists of the female Hollywood legend performing a sex act on an unidentified man. Ok sorry for saying that and causing fun, the man who bought the tape did so in the hope of
